Our Opinion
We are going to tell you a little about our experience with this processor, we used it for around 3 years, we never complained, it never gave us any problems. It was an excellent CPU, we had it with a Gigabyte x399 Designare ex motherboard, with 64 Corsair Vengeance RAM and a 3090 Rog Strix Gaming. It was an excellent build, we used it for everything, gaming, programming, virtual machines, everything was perfect. Unfortunately we had to change it for another configuration, not because it was better built, but because of how obsolete it was becoming since we later changed the GPU for a 4070ti Rog Strix Gaming. In order to get the most out of this GPU, we changed to a more recent version since it needs at least PCIe 4.0 since the x399 is PCIe 3.0, it does not mean that the 4070ti does not work perfectly with the x399, but for it to work fully at its maximum speed. We want to go back to using a newer Threadripper, we like that technology.
