GigaGuideTech is an independent tech site for everyday buyers and enthusiasts. We’re opening our pages to guest writers who know their stuff and can explain it in plain English. If you’ve fixed a problem nobody else could, tested a product you love (or regret), or follow a corner of tech closely, we’d like to hear from you.
What we’re looking for
- How-to guides: clear, step-by-step fixes for iPhone, Mac, Windows, Android, AirPods, smart home gear and more.
- Hands-on experience: reviews, long-term impressions and “what I learned” pieces about products you’ve actually used.
- Explainers and comparisons: what a new technology means for regular people, or which of two products is the better buy and why.
- PC and gaming: builds, upgrades, performance tips and game coverage.
Our main topics are AI, PC & Hardware, Gaming, Phones, Guides, Deals and Tech News.
Our guidelines
- Original and unpublished. Your article must be your own work and not published anywhere else, including your own blog.
- Accurate and sourced. Link to official sources (manufacturer support pages, press releases, independent tests) for facts, specs and steps. Clearly mark rumors as rumors.
- Written for people. Plain English, short paragraphs, real examples. Most articles land between 800 and 1,500 words.
- Your own images, or none. Send screenshots or photos you took yourself. We can add official press images.
- Human-written. You can use tools to check spelling or grammar, but the ideas, experience and writing must be yours.
What we don’t accept
- Paid links, link insertions or “sponsored” articles disguised as guest posts.
- Promotional pieces about your own company or product.
- Gambling, crypto trading, CBD, adult or other off-topic content.
- Articles spun or rewritten from other sites.
What you get
- A byline with your name and a short author bio.
- One link in your bio to your portfolio, website or social profile.
- Promotion of your article on our Facebook and Instagram and in our weekly newsletter.
- A published sample you can show future editors or clients.
Guest contributions are unpaid.
How to pitch
Email editor@gigaguidetech.com with the subject line “Guest post pitch: [your topic]” and include:
- One to three article ideas, each with a working title and two or three sentences on what it will cover.
- A short note about you and why you’re the right person to write it.
- Links to one or two things you’ve written before (a blog, a forum post or a school project is fine).
Please pitch before you write the full article. We reply to every pitch we can use within about a week. If you don’t hear back in two weeks, feel free to pitch something else.
Editing and publishing
We edit every article for accuracy, clarity, length and SEO, and we may change the title, add images or add links to related GigaGuideTech articles. We’ll send you the edited version before it goes live if the changes are significant. Once published, the article stays on GigaGuideTech and can’t be republished elsewhere, but you’re welcome to share the link anywhere.
